Biography
David Ross Rosenfeld

David Rosenfeld is a
recognized authority on legal ethics and professional responsibility and has
been qualified as an expert in federal and state judicial proceedings on
legal ethics, professional responsibility, and standard of care applicable
to attorneys. Mr. Rosenfeld provides ethics counsel to attorneys, law
firms, judges, corporations, and corporate legal counsel. He also represents
attorneys and law firms in disciplinary matters, disqualification and
sanction motions, and related ethics matters before federal and state courts
and disciplinary and regulatory administrative agencies.
Mr. Rosenfeld lectures
regularly and has written extensively on the subject of ethics and
professional responsibility in the legal profession. Among his numerous
writing credits is the Virginia Law Foundation publication Lawyer
Discipline in Virginia. Mr. Rosenfeld is a guest lecturer on ethics at
the American University Washington College of Law and former adjunct
Professor at George Mason University School of Law. He is the former
Chairman of the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board and served on the
Virginia State Bar Corporate Lawyers Section Board of Directors and the
Virginia State Bar Mandatory Legal Ethics Committee.
Mr. Rosenfeld received his
J.D. degree in 1968 from the George Washington University Law School and is
a principal in the Alexandria, Virginia law firm of David Ross Rosenfeld,
P.C.
